I woke up this morning 2 hours before my alarm and couldn't go back to sleep, despite feeling physically and mentally exhausted :-( Not sure why. Eventually dragged my butt out of bed feeling less than human and after some food and coffee, I felt almost human again. Strange given that I had an early - and quiet - night last night... Maybe I haven't had enough chocolate and red win therapy lately ;-)

Another largely upper body circuit with a few lower body exercises thrown in for good measure:
* leg extension
* assisted chin-ups
* single arm reverse flyes
* squats involving a medicine ball and my adductors
* floor bridge pullover
* straight arm prone hold,
repeated twice. Surprisingly I didn't feel very tired after last night's swim - well, that was until I did the assisted chin-ups - yikes; I really noticed it...oh well, my shoulders can only get stronger I suppose. Followed by 25mins of stretches.
After the gym I headed to the office for an hour or so before heading down to Clovelly for lunch with Lulu, Kit, The Owl & her friend Mandy for a couple of hours of chatting, gossiping and laughing whilst overlooking the beautiful Clovelly Bay. A very lovely way to spend a gorgeous Saturday afternoon.
90mins and 2 laps of the Bay on the cards for tomorrow morning with the Owl.
