Lap it up

Given its an easy/recovery week, I left my new acquisitions at home & went for an easy 50mins around the block. My first humid run of the summer (hardly surprising given my mid-week sessions take place at 5am). Throw in a bit of dehydration & a bit of a headcold which seemed to have arrived this morning & a flatish, easy run around the block felt a bit harder than it should have.

Anyhoo, it's done. Nothing exciting to report I'm afraid. Today's 'locals' sightings did not consist of idjits in utes but instead a rabbit & a couple of ducks :-)

Finished with 7.79kms in 50:03min (aver 6:25min/kms)

This is going to be an interesting & perhaps difficult week for personal reasons. But ya get that...and I know the PG is with me :-)
Mon: bike interval session & weights with Satan
Tue: run (45mins)
Wed: Pilates (Int/Adv)
Thu: run (40mins)
Fri: rest
Sat: run (70mins)
Sun: rest

MTD: 28.77kms

BTW, U2 were amazing!

I'm so glad we are getting out of the humidity season. Although I had to deal with it when I was out of town. . . it is nice to be back home where it is colder and less humid!! In several months, we'll both be talking about the opposite - I'll be whining about the humidity and you'll be pleased to be done with it.

I go away and you've got this nice comeback happening. Jealous.

Look after yourself this week, and buy another map, or try google earth.
