Activity: LSD run
Time: 8am
Duration: 40mins
Location: the Bay
I met S this morning at the Bay for my long run. S is a work colleague of a friend who took up running in February and is training for her first Half next month. S had 14kms on her program (10min run/1min walk) so I joined her for her first 40mins.
A beautiful morning. Quite cool actually but perfect running weather (once you warmed up). Did a leisurely 40mins around the Bay - once again, my longest run post-injury. At the end of my 40mins, I was feeling great & almost did another 10mins before I realised that this week, I had added a 4th run for the first time post-injury so decided that was not such a wise idea. Did I mention that I'm back & loving it?
This week has been a great (and busy) week of training - 4 x runs; 2 x weight sessions; 2 x sessions with Saint Andrew and 1 x massage at Tiger's House of Pain & Insults.
The week ahead - week 4 of Phase 1 & things are good!
Monday - run (20mins easy)
Tuesday - session with Satan
Wednesday - run (30mins) & Saint Andrew
Thursday - yoga
Friday - run (30mins) & massage
Saturday - rest
Sunday - run (50mins)
I can't begin to describe how happy I am to look at that plan for the week ahead & see all those runs - woohoo!
PS. A wedding update (I know there hasn't been one for a while) - yesterday, we found the bridesmaids dresses. Sexy. Though not as sexy as the bride I hope ;-)

I'm glad to hear you made the sensible decision Jen.
I love the photo Jen!
There seems to be lack of photos of the sexy bridesmaids dresses - or the sexy bridesmaids for that matter ...
What did we tell you about details?

Hey great work Jen - looks like things are going well and truly according to plan - keep it going mate ;-)
Seems like an active week just gone and another ahead :) Everywhere I turn I read about these Garmins and it looks like they're getting to a good size now...I can feel the temptation!
I have heard fluro green is the new canary yellow for bridesmaids dresses!
Good to see you coming back running again Jen.
Did I mention you give me so much hope :-)
Welcome back! You deserve to enjoy it after the effort you've put in to getting here.
