Monday: off to the pool about 9am for an easy swim with a coule of fast 25min laps. Only 900m in total but a nice way to ease into it.
Tuesday: 40mins bike session first thing in the morning which included 5 x 1min low cadence all out efforts. Yikes. 14.3kms
Wednesday: after some solid writing time in my favourite 'coffice', I headed to the gym to practice what I preach (ie, do a strength & core session). A hard, but short session, today. I haven't done a lot in recent weeks so just 1 set of the usual exercises today. Happy days :)
Saturday: an early morning bike session on the windtrainer before leaving for the drive to Canberra. 50mins including 6 x 2mins hard efforts. A very solid effort & a nice way to start the weekend, especially one that included *lots* of food! 19.4km
Sunday a 'rest' day if you can call getting up early to play chaffeur for R & Mini Mango who were riding in events as part of the Fitz's Challenge cycling event (not to mention then driving back to Sydney as they slept!).
Enjoyed a lovely lunch catching up with Ewen, CJ & Ruth (*waves*). It has been about 18 months since we last caught up so it was long overdue
A good week. Looking forward to an even bigger one next week!

Those photos are a great reminder of how spectacular the weather was that weekend. So many bikes too!
Yes, great to catch up. Ruth said you hadn't changed a bit, but I reckon you were looking younger. The new 'job' is having a positive effect :)
