This has been my theme song for the week. I have heard it (and not just by Adele) so many times...
Anyhoo, a bit easy on the training this week after a death in the family last Sunday afternoon & the need to travel to Queensland for a funeral on Wednesday.
The usual 1.2km swim on Monday morning & the first time since I got back in the pool that I feel like I'm starting to find my form (if not my fitness).
Then today it was another long walk as Coastrek is now on 14 weeks away. This time it was 2hr 45min which started in the Knapsack gully (between Emu Plains and Glenbrook) at the foot of the Blue Mountains. R joined me for the first 55mins as we walked up the 'hard' stairs. Interestingly I realised today that it was the same set of stairs that I fell down all those years ago & trashed my ankle. In fact I was looking for the 'hard' stairs at the time, It's nice to know that my navigation was good & that I was on the right track :)
R & I did a loop through the bush, arriving back at the car in 55mins. R then drove home whilst I walked on a hot morning. Thankfully there was a cool breeze which kept the temperature down - a little bit! 15.3km
A bit more training this week as we start to build for Coastrek!
