Ok so an announcement is pretty dramatic but it's good to be a Diva today :-)
The 'CR Logbook - October & YTD mileage' thread appeared on CR today. Looking back through my posts over the last month, it occurred to me that October was probably my first consistent month of training and the first in which I have added up the mileage.
Much to my surprise and delight, I discovered that I ran 100kms in the month of October!
I really can't believe it. I confess that part of my brain immediately thought "that can't be right; I couldn't possibly achieve that" (I even did the calculation again just to make sure) but I refuse to listen to that part of my brain. I'm a v. happy girl - if I weren't in a suit and in my office right now, I'd probably cartwheel :-)

Fantastic achievement Jen - we're all really proud of what you've been able to accomplish in recent months - and it makes CC 1/2 look all the more like an enjoyable day out doesn't it?
Oh forget being in the office - Just do a cartwheel anyhow :)
Well done.
Imagine an ITB sufferer doing that sort of mileage. You must be on the improve!!
I have been trying to catch up on my blog reading and you have done a bit over the last few days...and got a Polar thingummy as well!
Woohoo Jen - 100km for the month!
You realise now that you have to try to do the same for November ... and you have one less day to do it in ;-)
I loved the way you anounced this!! It is true, if you plan something like it sounds very hard, but you've done it!!
Well, just to think of it I feel excited about checking my records, I haven't done that ever... great idea!!
I figure 100 kms is equal to at least 10 chocolate tarts, if you know what I mean in a Rudolf kind of way ;-).
I haven't been reading other blogs much lately... Congratulations on reaching the monthly milestone, the start of some consistent months??
All the best and thanks for the comments over the past months.
