Farewell November...

What a funny month. Lots of lows (pulling out of the Half, lots of time spent at the dentist, feral workloads & developing whooping cough for starters) and one rather large high which I am still on.

So my totals for the month are:

Running - 35kms
Swimming - a couple of kms

That's actually not a bad tally given that I've had almost 3 weeks off running and 2 weeks with no exercise at all. Of course there is another tally that I've been adding to this month - my weight - but a girl's got to keep some secrets ;-)

Hoping to be back in the gym by the weekend. Fingers crossed. Bloody hope so. My butt and thighs feel like they are growing in size by the day!

You've had a rough time lately Jen, but 2006 is going to be a fantastic year for you!

This will be the year that starts giving you back the rewards you deserve for all the effort you've put in.

Bring it on!

Haha... keep the mystery Jen! I am sure it is your mind playing tricks on you! I am sooo looking forward to 2006 ... like you lots of lows and a few really big highs! Bring on the new year... we will make it our year :-)

Ah Jen, the highs far outweigh the lows :-)

Jen, must be something about the time you started running - just our time to not run as well as we'd like. You'll be back to your best in no time. Take it easy and enjoy the end of year parties. :)

It would be a good new detail including the weight in order to see it day by day... still wondering.
Those kms swimming sound pretty tough I can't believe they are not working to manage your weight.
Good to know you are planning to workout on saturday, good luck.
I don't think you could stay away and get used to not working out but I like when you put pressure on yourself, I am so alarmed when this happens. Is funny.

When you say you're crossing your fingers in the "hope" that you'll make it back in to the gym, are you worried you might not fit through their door??

Good to let the hair down for a few additional days.
And trust me, those new Lindt Diet Max chocolate tarts are zero calories and full of protein, so just go for broke there Jen and you'll be rippling.

Jen. Hope 2006 is bigger and better for you. I sent you an email about the injury program. Cheers.

Tim Tam icecream, chocolate mousse cake and the going out to dinner tomorrow night - all of this is playing havoc with my weight at the moment. And then there's all those Xmas parties coming up! I'll be a ten ton tessie come new year!
