I'm spinning around....*

As this is a recovery week, it was only 1 x 30mins spin class with the Satanic Spin Instructor this morning. As usual, a tough class but I felt strong and energetic (not to mention extremely hungry even before the class started!). Followed up with 20mins of stretching. I was a bit concerned as to how my knee/glute would handle the class but it was fine (lots of glute stretches seems to be the key to it). Yippee! A return to the back-to-back spin classes next Friday.

*I actually hate this song - but I did spin this morning AND the video clip was on the tv while I was stretching after the class so it seemed an appropriate title today.

no gold hot pants I suppose?

No, you're right - atrocious song. How good is it to hear that not only are you doing *easy* 40 min runs, that your shins are behaving, you're backing up for another work-out the next day, and you've regained a goal weight as well!

So many good news stories over here, it could have been scripted by Disney

You must be a very good lawyer Jen. Who else would think of adding a disclaimer to their blog titles?
Anyway I'm glad to hear your glutes and shins are still behaving.

Good one Jen.. now I have to tempt you down to the Lindt cafe to give you something to burn off with all this energy you're expending.. perhaps we could try that next week.. it's half way between our offices me thinks... how handy is that?

I'm going to try my first Spin class tomorrow so here's hoping I don't damage anything.. me or the bike!

Hi Jen! I'm currently reading The Rule of Four to be followed by the latest Harry Potter (yes, I know - I'm a bit behind the times!) Is the Lindt Cafe open in the evenings?

I'm with Miners on this one - just keep thinking of gold hot pants with that title!
