Up at 5.30am this morning for a 40min run as per "the program". Did the majority of the MiniMos course in reverse - including running up two v. nasty, short but sharp hills that I confess I have been avoiding for some time now (woohoo!!). My knee felt alright - started niggling at about the 30min mark (which is an improvement; it's been the 20min mark on my last few runs). Sunday's long run (50mins) is going to test it but lots of stretches and ice between now and then should help..... 20mins of stretching after my cool down and another 20mins tonight.
Off to see Andy the Pod next Tuesday to see if my orthotics need an adjustment - I hope he doesn't take them off me for too long!!
