Serious case of DOMS today, particularly in my abs - hehe, I love it!
Activity: weights with Satan
Time: 2.30pm
Duration: 30mins
Mood/energy: unsettled thanks to craziness at work
ITB report: alright
Circuit consisting of:
* squats
* supine single leg extensions
* bicep curls while kneeling on swiss ball
* single arm reverse flyes
* side leg lifts,
repeated twice. Right now, my legs feel like jelly and my arms like lead. Even stretching my shoulders proved to be a struggle. Lots of water and protein for me today in the hope that my arms/shoulders/back will function again in time for me to go for a swim in the morning...
Must confess that I skipped my post-Satan lower leg stretches in favour of getting back to the office quickly for cake...

Looks like a satanic verse.
No use stretching lower legs if there's no cake left to fill them up with.
Sounds like a sound strategy Jen, you would burn more calories in the dash for cake than in doing the stretches + a training effect + carb loading for the next session - perfect!
