My good friend 2P reminded me today that sport is as much mental as physical (if not moreso). So in an effort to remain positive, I'm not going to comment on my ITB today - instead I will say that I had a fabulous, relaxing & fun weekend and that I had a killer massage today (which I've been rescheduling for about 4 weeks now thanks to work). My satanic massage therapist has referred me to a chiropractor to check my alignment - she is concerned by the lack of improvement in the body part that I'm not talking about & suspects my back/pelvis might be a bit out of whack.
Off for a swim tomorrow morning.
Congratulations to my fellow CR playgroup members, Minersrun & Wobbly Man, after their SENSATIONAL races over the weekend :-)

Good for you Jen - and by the sounds of it your chin is feeling ok and in an appropriately upright position ;-)
I also think the chiro is a good move but you can keep the swimming....
Is there a picture of the ring to view yet???
Good on ya Jen.
And thanks, we all love a cheery post :-)
Man, you can swim at a good speed! Good on you, swimming is fun, just remember to enjoy yourself! :)
I'd agree with the massage therapist, no improvement despite the layoff may be a sign of other contributing factors for that un-named body part.
Fun & relaxing weekend at this time of the year??
Sounds like good advice from 2P - things will be looking good again sooner rather than later.
Incidentally, have we ever talked acupuncture over here? I can't recall ...
And thank YOU for the positive vibes over the weekend - they certainly helped BIG time!
I'm really glad to hear you sounding so positive Jen.
((((((((JOC)))))))))
I agree the chiro/osteo is a good idea! Good question 2P... when do we see the ring???
See you sunday :-)
Excellent idea to mix up the treatments, consultations and consider alternate diagnoses.
There's always a silver lining.
Yes! Go to all the choises you find that can help you to improve!
Acupunture works a lot in other things I've tried, could be a good relief.
