What a race it was – the lead changed something like 6 times within the last km. I had tears in my eyes and goosebumps watching her cross the line and her post-race interview. All of our runners (both male and female) did us proud :-)
Anyhoo, I went out for my much delayed run at about 5.15pm this afternoon. Another 15mins walk to warm up followed by another 20min run around the local oval (followed by 30mins of stretching when I got home). It felt physically harder than Thursday mornings run but I think I was pushing it at a slightly faster pace. While I am still feeling v. unfit, I am pretty pleased with my progress; both physcially and mentally. Might be time to think leaving the oval and returning to the road next weekend (she says with fingers crossed…)
The week ahead:
Monday – weights
Tuesday – run
Wednesday – weights
Thursday – run (+ CR drinks!)
Friday – weights
Saturday – rest + visit to Saint Andrew (the chiro who helped 2P with his 6ft campaign)
Sunday – run
plus I want to squeeze in a swim and a walk or two (just not quite sure where yet....)

Sounds like a good week, wish I could be there for drinks. :(
I had a tear... but as Ray says I am a bit mad ;-)
Woo Hoo on another run :-)
The marathon was amazing, as were the triathlons the day before.
Sounds like you've got a busy week ahead - hope it goes to plan! Your running is coming along nicely.
