An update

No you don't Portrunr ;-)

Owen asked about my attempts to change my footstrike. I'm trying to concentrate on my clawback - Owly also suggested thinking about your feet moving in circles - but gee it's tiring and I feel very unco. It will feel more natural with time I suppose...

Tuesday 1 August
Rest day

Can't say I'm sad to see the end of July. One very bad month. Rest day today - had to cancel my appointment with ET due to work

Wednesday 2 August
AM: 40mins easy run on grass around & around the oval, changing direction every 10mins to break up the monotomy & boredom. Finished with 6.21kms in 40:14mins (aver 6:28min/kms). Several rather prominent niggles....

Massage tonight.

Thursday 3 August
GRC Pilates class (reformer machines) with a large focus on glutes (thanks to my special request). Really tough session which I really enjoyed

Friday 4 August
AM: Same session round & round the oval as on Wednesday morning right down to distance, time & pace! (Unfortunately comments about the niggles also apply).
PM: (Hatha) yoga class at lunch. Lots of standing poses; perfect given I didn't get much of a chance to stretch after my run this morning.

MTD: 12.43kms

Ay, hate to hear this "updates".

Ok, we need a plan. Let's do it as easy as possible... not forcing it at all... but with distance as I will tomorrow :S

What I miss more than anything is the enjoyment... :(
